Yehudi Menuhin School concert raises £2,300 for Ukrainian children

Ashtead Rotary Club and Yehudi Menuhin School raised £2,300 for the children of Ukraine at a concert at the Menuhin Hall in Cobham on October 11, 2024.

The concert featured dazzling performances by students from the Menuhin School and from City of London Freemen’s, Cranmore, Howard of Effingham and The Weydon School.

The Lord Lieutenant for Surrey, Michael More-Molynieux praised their performances and encouraged the audience to support Rotary’s cause.

“We were really thrilled to participate in such a wonderful concert at this amazing hall – it was the opportunity of a lifetime” said one of the performers.

Since 2022 Ashtead Rotary has raised over £20,000 in cash and warm clothing to support Ukrainian refugees and the needs of families in Ukraine.
